Summer Library Week 1st Week of Programs (June 16-20)

The Summer Library Program also includes Babygarten for babies 0-24 months with their parents, caregivers, and siblings and is on Mondays at 10am.  Join us for rhymes, books, songs and free playtime in the Library’s Community Room.

Junior Lunch Bunch storytime is held on Tuesday at noon in the Community Room.  Preschoolers and their parents/caretakers are invited to bring a sack lunch and blanket, and join Kris and Laura for storytime with books, songs and actions.  Morning Storytime is on Wednesday at 10am which will be the same stories from Junior Lunch Bunch…without the lunch.

 
Preschool Players first session of the play, Mouse Paint , still has parts available.  Children ages 4 and 5 will rehearse on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 and 18 from 3-3:45pm and will present the play on Thursday, June 19th at 6:30pm.

 
Summer Signing Sessions are on Wednesdays at 1pm.  Participants of all ages will learn the basics of American Sign Language(ASL) with a new topic covered each week. 

 
Monday Movie Matinees start on Monday, June 16 at 2pm.  Each Monday a movie will be shown for free in the Library’s Community Room and kids can bring snacks, pillows and blankets to enjoy a G or PG rated movie.  Check the sign in the Children’s Area of the Library for this week’s movie.

 
Reedsburg Readers are book discussion groups for kids going into 2nd-5th grades that meet on Tuesdays at 1pm.  Space is limited, so please sign up in the Children’s Area of the Library.

 
Discovery Programs for elementary age children begin on Thursday, June 19 at 2pm with a visit from the Reedsburg Police Department.  This presentation will introduce children to Police Science and may include a visit from Zena the new K9 member of the department. Sign up in the Children’s Area of the library.

 
Teen Time @ Two is a Friday program for kids entering 6th through 12th grade and starts with the popular Duct Tape Workshop on Friday, June 13th at 2pm.
