The
Reedsburg Public Library is kicking off its Summer Library Program with
performer Stuart Stotts on Tuesday, June 17th at 7pm in the
Library’s Community Room. For 2014′s
summer reading theme, “Fizz, Boom, Read,” Stuart includes songs and stories
about exploring the wonders of our world, with lots of humor, interaction, and
a serious plug for reading. Stuart travels throughout the Midwest
performing for schools, nursing homes, festivals and community groups. He plays
guitar, National Steel Guitar, rainstick, and water drum. He is an expert at
getting audiences involved through singing, movement and laughter. Stuart is
also the author of “World Citizen” and “Music in my Mother’s House”, and many
other songs which are being performed by artists around the country. For more information visit his website at stuartstotts.com. Stuart’s performance is sponsored by Sound
Devices and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State
of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts and by a grant from the
Sauk County UW-Extension Arts & Culture Committee.
