The Library Outreach Program to Loganville begins Wednesday, June 25th in the Village Hall.  Book Bunch is at 10am with activities for families and Teen Time starts at 1pm for kids going into 5th through 12th grades.  Books are available for check-out at both programs.

A Writer’s Club for students in 6th through 12th grades has started in the Library’s meeting room on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm.  This program is facilitated by Katie Paradis, a recent graduate from RAHS, and will include writing ideas and future visits from local authors.

This week’s Discovery Program for elementary age children is a visit from Mary Tooley, a summer library program favorite performer.  Mary’s program is called “Fizz, Boom, Dinosaurs & More” and will be on Thursday, June 26th  at 2pm.  Please register in the Children’s Area of the Library.  This program is funded in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts and by a grant from the Sauk County UW-Extension Arts & Culture Committee.

The Reedsburg Public Library is participating in the Madison Mallards’ Library Appreciation Night on Wednesday, July 2nd at 7pm.  The child with the closest guess of the number of rubber ducks in the “duck pond” on display at the Library will win two free tickets to the game.  The tickets include free admission, Mallards hats and the opportunity to be on the field for the first pitch.  Participants must be available to attend the game with a parent or guardian to be eligible. The winner will be contacted on Friday, June 27th.
