Memphis

Last week the eyes of the world were on Memphis, Tennessee, as British royals Prince William and Prince Harry came to town for a friend’s wedding. Their visit inspired dozens of fans, paparazzi and news media. They also toured the home of the King--- Elvis, that is. Memphis is known nationally for many things: the home of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock n’ Roll, the birthplace of the blues on Beale Street, the home of some of the world’s best barbeque, and the central location for some of the world’s most renowned businesses. It has a soul like no other city in America’s Mid-South. We have books that will help you experience Memphis from the mighty Mississippi to Beale Street and beyond. “Memphis Then and Now” takes you on a tour with amazing then-and-now photographs of the city. If you enjoy shadowy spirits tales, try our book “Haunted Memphis” by Laura Cunningham. It’s filled with fright, history and ghostly legends. You can also pay homage to the music heritage of blues, soul and rock with our books about Stax Records and Sun Records. We even have a video tour of Graceland, which is a one-of-a-kind experience that leads you down Elvis Presley’s fascinating journey to superstardom.
