The Friends of the Library group is accepting items for our fall silent auction. If you would like to donate a new item that you have either made or purchased, we would be glad to add it to the auction list. We have many signed books from the worlds of entertainment, sports and politics. Included is a signed “American Pickers Guide to Picking” from Mike Wolfe who I personally met last fall. The October 8-20 auction is also a great time to get started on your Christmas shopping. We are just starting to receive items, ranging from Green Bay Packers merchandise to Easter eggs from the White House. Items will be on display in September at the library and the money earned goes to support the library collection.
