Last week Nora Ephron died. An essayist and humorist who became a very successful screenwriters, filmmaker and author, she is one of the most quotable and influential writers of her generation. Ephron was famous for such favorites as “Julie & Julia”, “Sleepless in Seattle” and “When Harry Met Sally”, as she wrote, directed and produced them. Her books included “Heartburn”, a knockout about her marriage to Washington Post reporter Carl Bernstein, and the popular essay collections “I Feel Bad About My Neck” and “I Remember Nothing”. We have many of her films and books in our collection.
