Did you know that libraries preserve the past? Here at the Reedsburg Library we are the repository of community history, oral narratives, and audiovisual records of events and culture. We have just added to our circulation collection DVD copies of the Reedsburg Area Veterans Memorial dedication from July 4th and “Unsung hero”, a short NBC-15 piece about World War Two veteran Lynn Krug. Also added to our music collection are recordings of the varsity/concert band of Reedsburg High School in 1964 and 1965. There were made into CD’s from record copies. The library always welcomes donations of family histories, local histories, local cookbooks, photographs, and yearbooks for its collection.
