Did you know it was fifty years ago that John F. Kennedy signed an order that established the Peace Corps on March 1, 1961. The Peace Corps has made a difference in the lives of people living in developing counties and in the lives of the volunteers who work in those lands. We have on order a new book by Stanley Meisler “When the World Calls”. This book carries us through organization’s fifty-years of history and leaves us convinced that 200,000 volunteers really did make a difference.
