Grant Tinker born January 11, 1925.
The former chairman and CEO of NBC from 1981 to 1986 and co-founder of MTM Enterprises. Thinker is the former husband of Mary Tyler Moore.
MTM Enterprises produced hits like Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda, Bob Newhart Show, WKRP in Cincinnati, Hill St. Blues and St. Elsewhere.

During Tinker's tenure in NBC's top position, the network regained ratings and produced popular shows like The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court and Hill St. Blues.
