40 yrs of Milwaukee Brewers

Forty-years ago on April 7, 1970 the Seattle Pilots took the field as the Milwaukee Brewers at County Stadium as they were greeted by 37,237 fans. They were routed by the California Angels 12-0 and would finish fourth in the AL West with a 65-97 record that season. Our library display case is celebrating the Brewers milestones and players this month. You will find ticket stubs, bobble heads and even a replica Seattle Pilots jersey. To discover more about Seattle Pilots and their one season before Milwaukee, try Kenneth Hogan’s book “1969 Seattle Pilots” major league baseball’s one year team.
