Valentines Day

Love is in the air; Valentines Day is only a few days away. So it seems like the perfect time to watch a favorite romantic movie, episodes featuring your favorite TV couple or to read a favorite love story. I’m sure you have your own favorites of each but here are some of the favorites of others. There are some great movies, “Casablanca”, “Gone with the Wind”, “Dr, Zhivago”, “Titanic”, “and An Affair to Remember", or the modern version “You’ve Got Mail”. Some of the best couples from television were Lucy and Ricky, Homer and Marge, Rachel and Ross, Sam and Diane, Gomez and Morticia, Jim and Pam, Bobby and Pam, Rob and Laura and so many more. (Can you figure out what TV shows those couples were in?) Or if you would rather read aloud (to share) a good book you could try, “Gone with the Wind’, “Pride and Prejudice”, “Wuthering Heights”, “Love Story” or some more modern novels that were made into movies like “P.S. I Love You” or “Notebook”. Any of the above suggestions will help you celebrate a quiet inexpensive Valentine's Day at home.
