Economic woes have dominated the news for more than a year now, but for some the effects of the slumping economy have been personal, and often devastating. Job loss is an increasing problem in local communities, but there is a glimmer of hope. We will be hosting “Job Searching Workshop” on Thursday, August 20th at 1 PM. This session will be taught by Madison Area Technical College instructors. It will focus on the basic mechanics of using Microsoft Word to build your employment documents and some general tips on setting your resume or application apart from other applicants. The session will also look at some online resources and employment websites that allow you to upload your resume online.
