challenge at the
Reedsburg Public Library.
The Reedsburg Public Library’s 1,000 Books before Kindergarten program can be started at any time with any child not yet in Kindergarten by picking up a folder at the checkout desk. Adults keep track of the books read and children receive incentives along the way. The final prize is an ABC Bingo game.

Reading to your child is the best way to
prepare him
or her for Kindergarten.
Reading
aloud
will help them become better readers, build their speech and
language skills,
expand their vocabulary, strengthen their listening skills, help
them with
grammar and correct sentence structure, build their attention
spans, develop
their imaginations and curiosity and give them positive attention
that they
crave.
