Sturgis Week

This week the Black Hills will come alive with rolling thunder as bikers from across America and many nations converge in Sturgis for a week of races, concerts, and partying with a carnival atmosphere.  It is also the 110^th anniversary of the passing of Calamity Jane on August 1, 1903. She is buried next to Wild Bill Hickok in Deadwood, South Dakota. Learn more about the woman and the legend in James McLaird’s book “Calamity Jane”.
