Hank Aaron 755th Home Run

Also during the Bicentennial year thirty-five years ago on July 20, 1976 at Milwaukee County Stadium in Milwaukee, Hank Aaron hit his 755th and final home run. He finished his career that year with the Milwaukee Brewers and is now one of the greatest living baseball players. Hank Aaron is the author of three books including “I Had a Hammer”, his 1991 autobiography. We also have many books by and about Aaron including “The Man who made Milwaukee Famous” by Brewer teammate Don Money which is more or less a diary of this first season back in Milwaukee in 1975. It is told through the eyes, ears and feelings of the author as he puts the reader in the locker room and on the road with one of the all time greats. For more about County Stadium try Gregg Hoffmann’s book “Down in the Valley” which is a complete history of Milwaukee County Stadium filled with pictures from the first game to the last.
