Fizz Boom Read: June 27-July 3

Fizz Boom Read @ the Reedsburg Public Library June 27-July 3

Teen Time @ Two on Friday, June 27 will feature an Artist in Residency from the Wormfarm.  Patricia Tinajero is from the Amazon basin of Ecuador and is in Reedsburg to share her culture's handmade paper traditions.  During Teen Time the students will turn scrap bits of colored paper into works of art and learn how Patricia takes local grasses and fibers to make paper for writing.   Teen Time is from 2-4pm on Fridays and welcomes students going into 6th-12th grades.  There is no cost and no need to register.

Family Fun Nights are on Tuesdays at 6:30pm and this week families will become Kitchen Table Scientists with common household products.

The Library Outreach Program to Loganville continues Wednesday, July 2nd in the Village Hall.  This week's Book Bunch at 10am will feature building activities for families.  Books and other Library materials will be available.

The Summer Signing Sessions program is on Wednesday at 1pm and this week will feature American Sign Language(ASL) signs about family.  There is no need to have previous ASL experience and all ages are welcome.

A Reading Education Assistance Dog(R.E.A.D.) is visiting the Library every Thursday from 1-2pm in the Storytime Room.  A specially trained dog and owner will listen to children read which encourages the love of reading.
