Second Saturday- October 12th

Second Saturday: Family Time @ Your Library is all about Quark

Quark(pronounced “kwark”), is a fresh cheese that is very common in Europe and now available in Wisconsin thanks to Bob Wills, owner of the Cedar Grove Cheese Factory in Plain.

The Reedsburg Public Library is hosting this family program during Fermentation Fest as a great way for families to discover this versatile cheese.

Second Saturday: Family Time @ Your Library takes place in the Library’s Community Room from 10-11am, Saturday, October 12th.  This monthly program is held at no cost and there is no need to register.

Families will have the opportunity to taste Quark and learn how to use it on sandwiches, as a dip, in desserts or mixed with fruit or herbs.

A Reading Education Assistance Dog(R.E.A.D), is also scheduled to listen to children read in the Library’s Storytime room beginning at 10am on Saturday, October 12th.

Learn about all of the upcoming events at the Reedsburg Public Library’s webpage at www.reedsburglibrary.org or by calling 768-READ(7323).
