Do you remember “The Ed Sullivan Show”, the longest running variety show and the most popular for decades? It first aired 65 years ago on June 20, 1948. Throughout the years all types of acts were performed and many made their television debut on the show. Two of the largest audience acts of the times were Elvis Presley and the Beatles.
