Forty years ago on September 17, 1972, the most innovative and celebrated TV series ever produced was first aired. Set in the 1950s during the Korean War, M*A*S*H explored the lives of the men and women serving in a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital stationed behind enemy lines. The show lasted an astonishing 11 years, and was started with a book written by Dr. Richard Hornberger using the name Richard Hooker. The book was a fictional account of Hornberger’s years at the 8055 Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in Korea. We have the book M*A*S*H, and a few others in the series featuring the same characters.
