Did you know that on July 6th it was fifty years since William Faulkner died in 1962? The American writer and Nobel Prize winner from Oxford, Mississippi wrote novels, plays and screenplays during his career. He is best known for his novels and short stories, which are set in the fictional Yoknapatawpha County, a setting Faulkner created based on Oxford. We have on DVD “The Writings of William Faulkner” which discusses his life and his writings from his home “Rowan Oak”.
