Did you know that one hundred years ago, on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day, Thelma Catherine Ryan Nixon was born? She was nicknamed Pat by her father, referring to her birth date and Irish ancestry. It was not her legal name but she used the name Patricia and it’s even on her tombstone. Learn more about Richard Nixon’s wife here at the library.
