Davy Jones
Last week Davy Jones best known as a member of the “Monkees” died at the age of 66. He along with Micky Dolenz, Mike Nesmith and Peter Tork formed the group and had several hits that sold millions of copies, including “Last Train to Clarksville”, “I’m a Believer” and “Daydream Believer”. Weeks after the group’s first single topped the pop charts their TV series was introduced with its catchy theme, “Hey, Hey, We’re the Monkees”. We have the Emmy award winning show on DVD. Also we have the 1971 episode of the “Brady Bunch” in which Marcia Brady convinces Davy Jones to perform at her high school prom.
