Thursday, February 16th at 7 PM we are showing a movie based on a bestselling book. This film has been nominated for awards and was one of the top 10 films of 2011. It’s an account of the Oakland Athletics Baseball team’s 2002 season and their general manager Billy Beane’s (Brad Pitt) attempt to assemble a competitive team with unfavorable financial situation. Because of our Public Performance Movie License, we can’t list the title here, but to find out stop at the library or call and ask about the movie.
