Nov. 10, 1975- Edmund Fitzgerald Sinking. The ore carrier broke in two during a heavy storm in Lake Superior. There was no survivors of this, the worst Great lakes ship disaster of the decade, which took the lives of 29 crew members. Check out our display of books on this event.
