Marilyn Monroe 85

Add sparkle and glamour to your DVD watching this June with the one and only Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn would have turned 85 on June 1st this year. It’s an anniversary that brings up intriguing questions such as if she were still alive, what would she look like? Would her iconic status also have survived? On June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, Norma Jean “Marilyn” was born; twenty years later she bleached her hair blonde and changed her name to Marilyn Monroe. This most famous actress in the world died in 1962; however she lives on through her films. We have several of her hit movies on DVD. Check them out! Did you know that Marilyn had a sister? Few knew that until the book “My Sister Marilyn” by Berniece Miracle told the story she kept private for fifty years. It includes more than forty photographs of Marilyn with her family and friends.
