The Reedsburg Public Library will be having a visit from a Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.) on Thursday, April 14th from 6-7:30pm in the Children's Area of the Library. The Delta Certified Service Dog will be available to listen to your child read as part of the READ program which is the first literacy program in the country to use therapy animals as reading companions for children. This unique method provides children an opportunity to improve their reading skills in a comfortable environment by reading aloud to dogs.
