January 1, 1956 fifty-five years ago, John F. Kennedy’s “Profiles in Courage” was released. It was widely acclaimed and helped Kennedy earn national recognition. The book won the Pulitzer Prize for biography in 1957 and remains one of the definitive books written on both political courage and the U.S. Senate. We have an original edition of this book as well as an audio edition that is read by his children Caroline and John F Kennedy Jr.
