Dec 10, 1955- Mighty Mouse Playhouse
An all-time favorite of the Saturday-morning crowd (including adults). CBS had a hit with its pint-sized cartoon character Mighty Mouse who was a tongue-in-cheek version of Superman. The show had other feature cartoons such as "Adventures of Gandy Goose" and "Heckle and Jeckle".
