Theodore Roosevelt was born Oct 27, 1858 in New York City
The 26th President of the US succeeded to the presidency on the assassination of William McKinley. He was the youngest man to have ever served as president of the US. Roosevelt was the first president to ride in an automobile, to submerge in a submarine and to fly in an airplane.
