Libraries for real Life

The Reedsburg Public Library and other libraries have been improving communities for many years and in the process haves had significant impact on the lives of individual residents. Many of these are inspirational stories that deserve to be told. A new project has been underway called “Libraries. For Real Life!” which reinforces the reality that today’s public libraries are vibrant, dynamic, community resources that meet the information, education, and recreational needs of residents of all ages. Some people have found a new job with assistance from the library, or perhaps the library was instrumental in helping complete a high school or college degree. Maybe you attended a workshop or presentation that started you on a new career, or perhaps you got research help to deal with a personal or family member illness. We have a link on our website for you to begin sharing these stories about how important your local library has been to you.
