Read to Creb the R.E.A.D. Dog at the Reedsburg Public Library this Summer
Thursday (2-3PM): June 24, July 22
Creb is a rescued greyhound who is also a Reading Education Assistance Dog(R.E.A.D.) Creb is a Delta Certified Service dog and will be available to listen to your child read as part of the R.E.A.D. program which is the first literacy program in the country to use therapy animals as reading companions for children. This unique method provides children an opportunity to improve their reading skills in a comfortable environment by reading aloud to dogs. Books can be brought from home or chosen from the shelves at the Library.
Additional information about all upcoming programs at the Reedsburg Public Library can be found at http://www.reedsburglibrary.org/ or by calling the Library at 768-READ(7323).
