Charles Kuralt would have also celebrated his 75th birthday on September 10th. He is remembered most for the more than 600 episodes of “On the Road”, filed from every state in America. He was an author of seven best selling books and his slow mahogany voice on “Sunday Morning with Charles Kuralt”. Remember Charles Kuralt as he should be remembered as he gave us stories of hope and unheralded heroes. The library has the books he wrote and they are also available on audio, so you can hear him tell the stories.
Some of the “On the Road” episodes are also available on video and relive his stops in Sauk County and the Wisconsin’s Apple River.
