Woodstock- 40 Years

Woodstock took place 40 years ago on August 15th and the book world is paying tribute with a variety of books on the subject. This event brought more than half a million people to Max Yasgur’s farm in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Woodstock signaled the popularity and potency of modern rock ‘n’ roll in American society. It ultimately led to the creation of today’s popular music empire and celebrity culture. We have the new Mike Evans book, “Woodstock, Three Days that Rocked the World”. It is filled with 288 full color pages on the origin, the event and the aftermath.
