Munro Leaf- born Dec 4, 1905 is a children's author best known for his book "The Story of Ferdinand" about the pacifist bull that would rather smell the flowers than fight. But some of his lesser-known titles may be engaging to work into your childrens curriculum. Including fun takes on grammar and the always important topic of good manners! These titles were all published in the 1930s and 40s and are intended for young children, but the humor will be appreciated by older kids as well.
