Super Tuesday Part 2

Discover the candidates through their books. Hillary Clinton is the author of many books. We have her bestseller from 1993 “It Takes a Village”, and her 2003 memoir of the White House years, “Living History”. Candidate Barack Obama wrote “Dreams From My Father” which is the story of race and inheritance. His second book, “The Audacity of Hope”, is about his thoughts on reclaiming the American dream. Republican candidate John McCain has written five books in the last few years; one of the best known is “Faith of My fathers” which is a personal family memoir of his grandfathers service in World War Two and his service in Vietnam. Senator McCain’s political years are covered in the 2002 memoir “Worth the Fighting For”. Former Governor Mike Huckabee is the author of three books including “From Hope to Higher Ground” which tells his visions of restoring America’s greatness. All of these books are available here at the library to review and reflect during the coming months of this historic Presidential race.
